All steels are subject to quality control . Upon request, we can provide certificates of analysis. To provide the correct die, we need to know the type of Press and the dimensions of the die in use. We can build dies with a drilling design agreed with the customer or follow our geometries, the result of long experience.
Types of dice:
Nickel chrome:
– 20MnCr5 and 18NiCrMo5
– Treatment of steel obtaining 60 to 62 HRc of hardness between 0.8 and 1.2 mm deep in the die.
– Used for holes with the largest diameters (livestock).
Chrome steel:
– X46Cr13
– Treatment of steel by controlled atmospheres with hardness of 53-55 HRc on the surface and internal part.
– Resistant to more products corrosive .
– Alloy carbon with chromium.
– Endurance to break by impact of ferrous material.
– High food productions.
– The thickness of the die must be increased a little more to obtain the same PDI.
